Wow. This thing is a beast. I have dozens of knives and this may be my favorite. It is a CHUNK, very beefy. The blade is thicker than the the Junglas II, even the Becker BK-7/9. If you are on the edge, so to speak, pull the trigger. You won't be disappointed. If there is a down side, it is pretty heavy. Probably not the best choice for an ultralight backpacker.

Dieses Messer ist wahrlich das beste Messer welches ich je in den Händen hielt ...Es liegt super in der Hand ...Hat eine angenehme Schwere ...Und ist markellos verarbeitet ...Und sieht mega geil aus ...Mehr als zufrieden !!!Nur zu empfehlen !!!

This knife is heavy so it probably would never be your EDC. However, if you need to hunt, strip wood, sharpen camping sticks or camping stakes, split small logs, etc. -- we do not foresee any issues.If ever in a survival situation, especially long term, and you had to pick only 1 knife -- I would certainly recommend this be within your list of options.The 1/4" thick tang and back of blade makes a nice hammering surface for splitting small logs. I would recommend a makeshift wooden hammer (another log, carved out hammer, small tree limb, etc.) just to ensure preservation of the 90 degree angle on the back of the blade.The sharp 90 degree angle is ideal (especially based on blade metal-content) is absolutely perfect for firesticks/firestarter/striking rods for magnesium, etc.Hope you enjoy.
