Now, I’m not a seasoned monitor expert, so I can’t compare it to every monitor out there but this one is pretty impressive for the price.The bigger, brighter screen lets you see so much more detail in your shots. The resolution is perfect for its size at 1280x800—you can hardly see the pixels unless you’re really looking for them! Plus, it comes with a handy sunshade that attaches to Velcro. Super convenient! I have read reviews about cheaper monitors, and a lot of people complained about latency issues. This one seems to be fine. It’s fantastic for framing your shots. There’s minimal latency.One thing to keep in mind is that it’s very light. This is great for reducing fatigue during handheld or run-and-gun shoots, but it does mean it’s more likely to break if you drop it. It has a bit of a cheap plastic feel, and while I haven’t tested it, I imagine it could snap if you really tried.
