Cuando introduces un disco M.2 viene muy justo de altura con el disipador puesto. Hace mucho ruido incluso cuando el PC esta parado también hace ruido porque siempre esta encendido.La verdad es que he probado dos cajas y las dos tienen el mismo problema de construcción, las he tenido que devolver.Me sabe mal reseñar de esta manera, pero lo he probado todas las configuración de la BIOS, pero al conexión Thunderbolt 4 siempre se queda conectada sin embargo he probado otro modelo y muy bien.

very well made case, super fast. the other reviewer is WRONG about case being unfit. you have to gently push and slide. rgb is pretty cool. so far so good.

The main issue I have is that this enclosure runs at about 1/2 the speed as a different enclosure with the _same_ SSD in it running through the same USB 4 cable on the same computer (so the only variable was this enclosure). Unacceptable.The fan noise is audible, but not annoyingly loud, so there's that at least.It was very difficult to close the lid, as it requires sliding the very sticky heat pad along the SSD. Not a great design.I personally don't find the RGB to be a positive feature, it had been my plan to hide this drive somewhere I couldn't see it.Even at the heavily discounted price, the sub-par throughput means this is not worth it for me, and I've chosen to return it.

Ordered this SSD enclosure to use with a Samsung 990 Evo Plus 4TB NVMe. When I opened the box, I was impressed - the quality of construction appears to be good, USB-A and USB-C/Thunderbolt cables were supplied, along with a screwdriver, extra screw, and rubber plugs (for a half-length NVME SSD). Installation was straightforward and very easy - insert your SSD, secure it, close the lid and attach the cable.I plugged it in and....OMG - there is a constant high-pitched fan whine from the moment you connect the drive. It's literally like having an old-school 7200RPM spindle hard drive. I could, perhaps, understand some fan noise if it was activated when under load, but this is not the case. It is always on from power up and extremely annoying. I value having a quiet workspace and this enclosure just does not do it for me.As far as functionality/compatibility, the transfer speeds appear to be very fast on a MacBook Pro M1 connected to the Thunderbolt port. I transferred 64GB of files in about 15 secs. The RGB lighting that changes randomly is kinda cool, but the nice visuals do not make up for the loud whining noise.

This is compact but it does not fit to close back cover case because the depth is very low. I used only slim heat sink M2 and could not close the back cover, it has magnet to click.The speed is ok but does not hit 40 GB where they claim no matter what cable or M2 Gen 4 used to test. RBG is ok. You can only use this case without heat sink which is not the case in most of the M2 Gen 4.For the price $99 (after discount black Friday $30) - still not worth it. Retuning the unit for refund.
