Britannia benutze ich seit Jahren. Bisher immer "kaltgepresst", aber auch diese Version ist schön, besonders wenn das Endergebnis später gepostet werden soll. Hier kann je nach Anwendung eine Struktur eher hinderlich sein. Auch mit weniger Erfahrung kann man mit diesem Papier schöne Ergebnisse erzeugen.Wie lange das Papier hält, kann ich natürlich erst nach Jahren beantworten und es kommt stark auf die benutzten Aquarellfarben an, aber ich vertraue Hahnemühle da einfach mal.

Ich habe beim Kauf nicht richtig hingesehen, wollte eigentlich ein raues Papier haben. Die Farbbrillianz ist einzigartig, das kann man auf dem Foto gar nicht wiedergeben. Für mich als Anfängerin ist es noch etwas schwierig, die Kontrolle über die Farbe zu behalten. Bei mattem Papier verläuft alles von selbst und sieht automatisch schön aus. Bei diesem Papier trocknet die Farbe schneller und ist auch im nassen Zustand eher dazu geneigt, da zu bleiben, wo sie ist. Das kann man natürlich für sich nutzen, so konnte ich bei den Knospen das Grün und Gelb problemlos gleichzeitig auftragen, ohne dass die beiden Farben komplett ineinander verlaufen. Ich bin gespannt, wie die nächsten Malversuche werden.

Ich liebe dieses Papier. Bisher habe ich immer nur cold pressed Wasserfarben-Papier benutzt. Dieses hier habe ich eher ausversehen bestellt ( nicht richtig hingeschaut und gedacht es ist matt/cold pressed) Ich glaube ich kann nie wieder zu einem anderen Papier wechseln. Bin komplett begeistert.

Paper took my Schmincke watercolour and the Caran d'Ache watercolour pencils nicely, but really sucked up a lot of water compared to, say, Fabriano. Because this is a block, it doesn't buckle when painting, which is good. Comparing the block to Saunders Waterford (which costs more), there are some real differences. My Saunders Waterford block has a clear span at the top where you can slide a palette knife between the pages to detach your painting from the block (i.e. cut through the waxy glue holding the page onto the block so that it doesn't wrinkle while painting). This Hahnemuhle block doesn't have that, or, at least, not obviously. You have to hunt around for a place to tuck the palette knife between pages because the waxen glue is all clear, rather than black with an open span of white paper at the top for you to tuck in and begin removing the page. My 'span' was in the upper right hand corner of the block, but I'm not sure that was on-purpose, or because the paper came dinted in the corner -- thanks, Amazon shipping, you can't ship art supplies for beans (I have stories). :p On the other hand, I took a page off the Hahnemuhle block with a plastic palette knife, easy as pie. It was very cool! My Saunders Waterford? I destroyed two sheets of that expensive paper just trying to cut it off the block and had to use an Xacto knife in the end. Imagine how heartbreaking that would be after you spent days on a painting? (Always cut a page off first, as a test!) Nothing was destroyed as I detached pages from this block, just be careful to find your palette-knife opening before you start, and mark the area with an X. In short, I'd recommend this smooth paper, but be aware it sucks up water like a thirsty bull mastiff. It's not much of a problem if you're prepared for it and use water as you need to. At this price, you can do a couple of practice 'apple' paintings to gage. Have fun! :D

El envío llegó perfecto y en buenas condiciones. El papel es de alta calidad y no tiene apenas grano, que es lo que estaba buscando para trabajar con acuarelas y técnica mixta. Totalmente recomendable.
