This is a great dongle based DAC, but the connection is the weakness. the phone/Go Link cannot be easily used on the go without protecting the entire setup. I returned and looking for a bluetooth version.

Wozu brauche ich den iFi audio Go Link Max ?Früher nutze ich für den mobilen Musik Konsum einen DAP(Digital Audio Player) bzw. umgangssprachlich mp3 Player.Dann gab es die Smartphones mit 3,5mm Audio Ausgang, bei den neuere Modellen gibts nur noch USB-C.Der iFi audio Go Link Max wurde offensichtlich für das Apple Universum entwickelt incl. MFI Zertifizierung.Für den Lightning Anschluss liegt ein Adapter auf USB-C bei, der DAC funktioniert jedoch auch mit einem Adapter von Micro USB auf USB-C am Android Handy.Der iFi audio Go Link Max unterscheidet sich in einige Punkten von den diversen anderen DAC's in diesem Format.Da sind die beide anologen Ausgänge mit 3,5mm unsymmetrisch und 4,4mm symmetrisch.Es gibt keinen Equalizer und keine Lautstärkeregelung usw.Digitales Signal geht via USB rein und kommt analog wieder raus.Damit wird praktisch jedes aktuelle Smartphone zum guten Audio Player incl. HiRes, wobei HiRes eher Marketing ist.Mein mobiler Audio Player ist mein iPhone, einerseits für Streaming, andererseits für lokale Medien.Ja, es gibt auch Bluetooth, doch mit Kabel klingt es dann doch meist besser.Der iFi audio Go Link Max hat nun den Vorteil des symmetrischen Ausgangs, daran kann man höherwertige und/oder hochohmige Kopfhörer betreiben, in meinem Fall ist es ein Beyerdynamic T5, der ist zwar niederohmig, bringt jedoch am iPhone seine Leistung nur über den symmetrischen Ausgang.Am Apple Adapter von USB-C auf 3,5mm + diversen Alternativen reicht es dafür nicht aus.Ein Manko könnte das fest verbaute USB Kabel sein

This bit of tech plugs into your phone by a usb-type-C but it comes with USB-A and Lightning port for older Apple devices.If you use a pair of Headphones with a 4.5mm jack it will work. If you use a nice pair of in-ear-monitors it will work with 3.5 mm jack.Has an LED which changes color in 4 modes depending which type of source music you use.If you play music that was recorded with poor quality equipment and engineering techniques you will hear alot of noise/impurities which are less obvious without using this DAC/AMP. If you have very high quality audio source recordings then this will work wonders in terms of how much detail you can bring out. You need a decent pair of headphones/iems for that though.It is not cheap but it is worth it for me.This is not the first iFi product i've used so i know what to expect. Joy to use but be careful not to set the app volume too high. Play with an app that does hi-fi audio playback the right way.Thank you for a great audio experience.

Good value DAC that provides good sound, easy to use, connect and nicely made. Combined with Sony MDR 7506, together they deliver noticeable clarity and separation to my music.

Mi sono sempre trovato bene con prodotti ifi e questo non fa eccezione. Per le dimensioni ed il costo offre davvero delle buone prestazioni. Ideale come soluzione in mobilità.L’unica accortezza è di usarlo per pilotare cuffie che non abbiano un impedenza troppo alta, in quanto per forza di cose non può offrire la potenza di un amplificatore da scrivania. L’ho provato anche con delle Sennheiser hd660s2 e perdono una certa dinamica, anche se il volume rimane adeguato, ottimo invece con Meze 99 e con Philips fidelio.

Man sollte doch mehr Geld investieren.Ich dachte aus meinen B&O H95 hole ich mehr Klang aus mein IPhone 15Pro raus.Pustekuchen, klanglich gibt es keinen Unterschied zur Bluetoothverbindung.Schade, Größe und Verarbeitung ist super.
