Before I got 2 of these subs I started with a single 18 inch PSI platform 3 that was rated at 3,000 watts RMS. I had it powered by a Rockford Fosgate t1500bdcp rated at 1,500 watts RMS (which is underrated as well, it's actual output was a little over 1,800 watts) and at not even half volume that sub's voice coil was STINKING!!! I was VERY disappointed with it considering that single sub cost more than 2 of these L7's. So I sold it and got 2 of these, built an enclosure for them at the recommended specs (3.25 cubic feet per sub) tuned to 32hz and they SLAM!!! Not only do they slam, but not one single time have they smelled funny and I have been punishing them!!! These subs are rated at 900 watts each so between the both of them it is 1,800 watts and they take all that power NO PROBLEM!!! I will never stray from Kicker subs again, and you shouldn't either!!!

If you like solid rich bass, look no further! I sported the original 12in L7 since 2005 and loved it. I built the vented Box design recommended by kicker (2005 model) using MDF. It's not the smallest box design (for one speaker), but sounds awesome. When I seen the new Q series L7, I had to try it! It fit right in the original cut out of the original L7. Use the right amp to push it and you won't be disappointed!!!

What can I say about this new model kicker L7 Q-class. Handle power very well, very heavy base, good quality

Everything I was looking for ( hearing) outta these. I had them playing off of a hifonics brutus 2100 watt amp wired down to 1 ohm and a q bomb 💣 box definitely was hitting I love these and people was asking what I had. They’re lower grade competition grade but for 12”s they hit
