The product description stated it was specific for the manufacturer's bit(s). I used it to set up my Langership's 45 degree lock bits. The set up block did what I wanted it to do, it got me close, and with minimal tweaking, I got it right. Pretty well pleased.

I have another one of these for 5/8 & 3/4. I'm doing a project using half inch materialI am NOT a professional carpenter or cabinet maker but I am quite anal about everything I build. Making 90 degree corners that are strong and look good is an art.These router bits really help but setting them up can be frustrating. These setup tools take some of the frustrared "throwing stuff " out of the project!
