Ich habe den Vorgänger ausprobieren dürfen (Allegro Mini) und muss sagen, dass das Pro Modell auf jeden Fall ein Upgrade ist!Die Soundstage wirkt wirklich super belebt und breit. Es wird mehr als genug Power (sowohl am Handy als auch PC) geliefert, um auch Spaß mit 250 Ohm Kopfhörern zu haben. Ich persönlich habe eher 32 Ohm IEMs genutzt und schreibe fortan auch aus der Erfahrung mit denen.HipHop:Die Bässe kommen sehr gut durch, weder zu schwach noch zu stark - mit einem Equalizer kann man auf jeden Fall noch mehr rausholen, eventuell auch zu viel. Die höheren Töne (Hi-Hats) klingen ebenfalls sehr deutlich und detailliert und stechen nicht im Ohr (selbst bei hoher Lautstärke).Rock:Wirklich KEIN Instrument geht verloren! Man hört jeden einzelnen Anschlag der Bassgitarre, jeden Zupfer eines Gitarrensolos und jedes Kratzen des Gesangs. Das bringt wirklich Spaß! Schließt man die Augen, fühlt man sich wie mittendrin - top!EDM:Hier habe ich ein wenig mehr am Equalizer rumgespielt, da ich es manchmal doch gern hab, wenn der Bass sehr stark ist und das war hier definitiv erreichbar - und das selbst ohne dass der Rest des Sounds an Details und Qualität verliert.Der DAC hat per Knopfdruck auch drei verschiedene, voreingestellte Equalizer, die ich mal ausprobiert, dann aber schnell hab liegen lassen. Das ist nicht wirklich was für mich.

I generally don't use larger headphones with my portable devices as they simply aren't able to drive them at the same volume levels are smaller earbuds - this goes mainly for phones with the cheap USB to 3.5mm adapters but also for the Switch or portable PCs like the Steam Deck.There is enough of a 'lip' from the USB-C port for this to work without issue on my S23 Ultra even with a relatively thick case. I do not have a 4.4mm balanced cable handy to test that side of the little amplifier but it is rated at 170mW compared to the 68mW of the 3.5mm port so it will be louder if nothing else.Though its product page mentions a manual is included there was nothing in my box other than a foam insert and the amp. The coloured LED correspond to three 'modes' - blue is game, red is music, green is theatre, and I guess no light is just normal. I can't say I notice much difference between them except a bit of a boost to the treble and bass on the three modes versus having it off. Between those three? Dunno.I don't have any true high impedence headphones although Sennheiser's HD598s definitely benefit from amplification - and this amp has plenty of power even on the regular port for them to be quite loud. Even an old pair of Portapros benefit here.They work without issue on Android and that seems to be the same on a USB-C ported iPhone and Nintendo Switch. There is no problem on a Steam Deck, too, and though that device has a bit beefier headphone jack this little Allegro Pro still makes a big difference. I just had to insert it backwards to center the headphone cord.Compact, all metal, is literally plug and play on everything I tried with a USB-C port, and is a significant improvement from the built-in amp. Benefits anyone who uses headphones with a balanced cable, too.

To note these was reviewed with a Letshuoer S12 2024 Edition IEM via the 4.4mm adaptor and a set of philips x2hr using the 3.5mm for a differing open back experianceComing in a tiny box theres no instructions i could find in mine either above or below the foam, all i had was just the unit itself with a tiny button underneath that responds to the setting using a coloured LED.The unit feels to be made of all metal with just the middle used for grip over any functionality.The listing states -Blue for gaminRed for musicGreen for TheatreNow to prep i used a set of USB-C headphones for a good hour going through my usual set of FLAC audio and a high quality rip of a tv episode.Giving myself a small break i then returned using my pair of IEMs. Immediately the thing that hits is this unit will eat a tiny bit more battery but could easily push enough audio to work as a fairly decent amp for any set of speakers. Reducing this down my mids were instantly more noticable. Sound seperation was good and while the tv show sounded the same audio books became an almost guilty pleasure with some readings done through a bassy mic. Theres no question that the audio is atleast 5x louder while being clearer and much better,Now with the open back headphones. The philips x2hrs are a great example as they do need bit more of a amp for their true selves to come out. I can happily say this amp does that no problem. Music sound stage is to die for, its immensely wide and open air. The freedom of audio made me rush to find a movie and instead just went down a rabbit hole of different scenes, the bobba fett chase from star wars episode 2, the sand worm scenes from dune the entire lot was almost like a whole new experiance.This DAC is hands down a must have and would compliment even the casual listern is just better higher quality audio.

Really impressed by this tiny DAC - I can now use my high end headphones with my phone. What a difference! Without this it just doesn't have the juice to drive them properly, but this solves that problem. My only issue is around the lack of instructions but I guess there's really not a lot to figure out. Highly recommend for anyone who's got some nicer headphones that they can't currently use with their phone or other portable devices.

Great sounding audio, powering my set of AKG k7xx's.Mine didn't come with a manual so I had to ask linsoul directly what the different modes are.There is a tiny LED at the bottom showing whatode you are in. I wouldn't call it RGB effects or anything of the sort like the advertising states. It's purely an indicator light. The light shows the following:Blue - Game ModeRed - Music ModeGreen - Theater ModeI listened to a few favourite albums in red mode with my k7xx's. Works a treat, really happy with it.
