This is a Review of Mini 20 Cell Soil Blocker, Iron Hand Held 3/4 in Soil Block Maker Blocking Tool for Seed Starting with Seed Dispenser Garden Seeding Tools for Indoor Outdoor PlantsPrice at time of Review is 27.99when ordering this i knew it was tiny but its almost like a childs toy the soil cubes . these will be outgrown by the seeds in days when they start to grow . so it sadly adds another transplant they need when they are fragile and moving them to larger pot can hurt them in the long run vs using a slighly larger starter pot/cube .i was hoping to add this as a tool when i do my next year of seed starting but i wont sadly .I Don't Recommend this Item

The soil cell blocker is remarkably tiny, fitting snugly in the palm of my hand. Its petite structure is both delicate and surprisingly intricate, showcasing a design that seems almost too small to be packed with such purpose.

I ended up modifying it by cutting the black spacer, removed about 3/16(4.7mm). Got consistent results after modifying it. Used coco coir recipe but sifted it with a 1/8(3mm) sieve to get a finer texture for a better texture.

I hadn't anticipated how small these mini soil blocks would be, certainly not large enough to support tomato or cucumber seedlings!
