This thing is great. Never thought I'd use anything other than those slim wallets that are popular nowadays. Glad I switched to this. I needed to start taking notes on the go for work and didn't want to carry around multiple things. This holds it all. Cards, money, hunting/fishing license, receipts, pen, pocket notebook, sticky tabs, small calender. Fits right in my back pocket like a wallet does. Don't think I could ever switch back to traditional or slim wallets. It holds up pretty good. No tears or anything yet (had it for 6 months at this point) but I think the outside cover needs to be a little thicker material.

I recently started "journaling" with pocket journals. I've been using Field Notes as my journals and wanted a cover that could hold a pen as well as the journal. Most pocket sized covers don't have a pen loop for some reason, however this one does. It's solidly made and easily fits in either my front or back pockets. If anything, normal sized pens won't necessarily fit in this cover. If you use the pen loop, the end of the pen will stick out of the bottom of the cover. I ended up buying some Pilot G2 Mini Pens: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CHWJ245. These worked out perfectly. Overall I feel like this was a really good value!

Great little option for traveling; fits a passport very comfortably, and yet another place to keep a pen handy is of great benefit. Seems decently well made. It's a bit big to pocket, but great for a bag or purse, I'm sure.

I bought this field notes cover to replace my wallet and of course to hold my pocket notebook and a pen through out the day. Overall, I love this cover and it is about the same size as my Kindle cover so they are always sitting nicely besidely as I go through out my day. I ordered the brown one, but it looks more gray than brown which doesn't bother me.Pros:- There are a ton of pockets with more than enough room for 3 - 4 cards and cash. (Extra cards can fit in any of the extra large pockets)- It stays flat and offers some nice support for writing on the go.- Made of durable materials and is seemingly durable so far (I've had it for about a month)Slight Cons:- It is slightly too big for my pocket. I wear pretty standard slim fit Levi's jeans and the whole thing will fit in my pocket but its width makes it a bit uncomfortable at times.- You have to be choosy with your pen choice. If you are picky about pens like I am, you might be disappointed by the difference your pen choice can make on the size and the way the cover closes. I like Kaweco Sport pens, but they are too bulky for this case. Instead I have been using a Kaweco Liliput or a Fisher Space Pen.

THE GOOD: handsome and well-made cover.THE FRUSTRATING: Man, i had to wrestle to get the back cover of my Field Notes into the slip. I'm still not happy with the fit.
