This is a great umbrella. It was easy to set up. It looks good and works great. I ended up buying the base as well which you must have otherwise it’ll blow over. Instead of filling it with sand and water I just filled it with water and it’s plenty steady against the wind, I would definitely recommend the umbrella.

We had to have this base (expensive!!!!) because we live in the country/foothills and it can get very windy. We filled it with sand and water. Then we tried to move them, not far, but it certainly wasn't easy!! Hopefully it keeps the umbrella where it's supposed to be. One negative: The hole to fill these is like 2" around. Rediculous!! And it's on the side..... 🤦

We ordered the 9ft Purple Leaf umbrella with the four-piece water/sand filled plastic weighted pieces for the bottom. We have made it through most of one year with many occasions of very heavy winds/rains and our umbrella has stood with no issues. We highly recommend the Purple Leaf umbrella/weight combo for any patio!
