Over 20 years ago I landed my personal best summer flounder with a Quantum IR3. I've recently returned to angling after a hiatus lasting the better part of a decade. I've had a lot of fun re-equpping with all of the good quality, affordable tackle that's on the market today. I was looking for a 100 size baitcaster for smaller lures, again on a budget and remembered my good experience with Quantum. For the price I am more than satisfied with the feel of the reel and components. The cast control feels robust, the spool zero friction as advertised, the star drag smooth and responsive. My only complaint as it were is the handle makes up a considerable bulk of its size and weight. I will likely change that for a smaller, more precise feel, but it's the only "downside" of this budget reel that I can find. I was able to tune the cast control in about the first three casts, and after that it's just a matter of tweaking it for each lure. Casts great, smooth retrieve.

J’ai acheté ce moulinet casting, un petit budget 50 € pour savoir si cette technique pouvait me convenir. Ce petit moulinet m’a permis de savoir que cette technique me convenait parfaitement. Par contre j’ai acheté un moulin de casting de 200 € car pour lancer régulièrement et avec efficacité. Il est hors de question de le faire avec un moulinet, de qualité faible au moyenne
