The burr endmill is alright but they would be significantly nicer if the spaces between the cuts weren't all even. With the design being how it is the endmill will leave lines on your material after machining do to the lack of overlapping cuts.

First off you can buy cheaper versions of these, but they are generally worth what you pay for them. This is a quality bit.I was hoping it would come with some recommended speeds for cutting different materials, however it does not. I also thought the one pouch shown in the picture may have been a sample of some cutting oil, but it was not. Basically you get the little die grinder attachment and that is it.The QR code matches the model and serial number that is also listed on the shank.I got this for die grinding with either an air die grinder, or sometimes a cordless drill, depending on the application - which will generally be removing sharp edges, or slightly enlarging a cut that I made too small the first time. The bit itself is very sharp, but only in the forward direction. Counter clockwise it isn’t sharp at all. The top is set to plunge cut, however I’m not using it in a mill, so it has no use for me (other than to note that it’s not domed). As of March 30, 2025 they don’t recommend against aluminum - however in a previous ad they did. I imagine this is because pieces would fill up the groves making the tool useless pretty quickly, not because it wouldn’t cut. There are also safety concerns when the aluminum lets go.Since the ad has changed at least once already in the last week, I’ll say that currently they recommend 18,000 to 25,000 rpm for metals anyway (although they are specifically talking about plunge milling when they spec this). The listed 1/4" diameter - 50mm length and 22mm cutter length is identical to what I measured on mine. I will note, they mention Dremel as a name brand. Most Dremel rotary tools run 1/8" shanks and won’t accept a 0.25” tool like this (good news, I noticed they now sell a ⅛” version on this page)I’ll likely use my own judgement and try to keep it cool - however a google search puts tungsten carbide as having a melting point of 2870 degrees C. It is only slightly magnetic (just slightly more than the magnetic stainless), which agrees with google. So far I’m very happy with it, and it seems to be good value, and may likely get picked up by machinists more than hobbyist like myself (although the hobbyist in me enjoys quality). The traceability gives me a bit of peace of mind as well. I’m looking forward to it being my goto bit for many years, and allowing me to retire some of my lower quality ones.

I chose this SHARPRO Tungsten Carbide bur grinding bit for use in my DREMEL rotary tool for removing old grout when replacing tiles in my home's floor. While this bit is a bit wider than others like it, it's best for use on wider grout lines if that's what you're using it for. Very sharp right out of the box, this bit can chew through grout and softer materials with ease. I've not used it on metal but for grout, it works exceptionally well.Time will tell whether it lasts but my first impressions are very good. As with grinding metal, be mindful of the heat build-up on this bit. Letting it get too hot/working it too hard will certainly hasten dulling and cause it to loose its sharp burr edges. Other than that, a very durable and effective bit.

Beautifully made router bit, with a marked and precise shank of proper 6.33 mm diameter, and very sharp cutting edges. It is a burr cutter with multiple intersecting spiral flutes. May be used with both, CNC router, and a plunge router. Make sure to use proper workholding, as this bit is similar to spiral upcut bits and will create force pulling upwards on the piece you are cutting. A good quality bit, and comes in a branded good quality storage container. Love it, no regrets. Recommend buying.
