Für den Preis sehr gut. Der AF könnte etwas besser reagieren und die kürzeste Entfernungseinstellung ist etwas groß. Das Objektiv ist schön leicht und klein, wie gemacht für Street Fotos.

J’avais hâte de tester cet objectif, mais dès la réception, grosse déception : les lames du diaphragme sont bloquées à f/2 et ne réagissent ni à la bague d’ouverture ni aux réglages du boîtier. Impossible d’utiliser correctement l’objectif.Autre point inquiétant : l’objectif était simplement posé dans une boîte légèrement trop grande, sans aucune protection pour le maintenir en place. Il est donc difficile de savoir si le problème vient d’un défaut de fabrication ou d’un choc durant le transport.Quoi qu’il en soit, retour immédiat. Dommage, car la construction semblait prometteuse. À éviter si vous cherchez un objectif fiable dès la sortie de boîte.

Qualitativ definitiv über den Standard Sony Linsen, sowie Tamron. Ich hatte mir schon das 35mm/1.4 MF Sony-E von Ttartisan geholt und mich aufgrund des vielen Spaßes, denn mir das kleine Ding beschert hat zum 75/2.0 FE gekommen. Super Bokeh, guter AF, tolle Schärfe. Die Ergebnisse können sich sehen lassen. Die ungewöhnliche Brennweite ist ne prima Alternative zu viel teureren 85mm objektiven.

Gut

Ein Porträtobjektiv braucht man einfach. Es wird normalerweise eher selten benutzt mit der Brennweite. Von daher braucht man die Ansprüche auch nicht bis ins unendliche hochzuschrauben. Ich hatte vorher ein 50er äquivalent an APSC und habe diese Brennweite immer geschätzt für den Zweck. Das hier für VF ist mir sofort aufgefallen wegen der schicken Machart. Lichtstark, Ganzmetall, kompakt, leicht und ein Blendenring. Sieht richtig gut aus an der 7C.Und es macht schöne Bilder. Wenn die Portraits nichts werden, dann liegt es zumindest nicht an dieser Linse, Leute. Was ich so an Nachteilen mir angelesen hatte vorher, trifft nur zum teil zu. Der AF ist verglichen mit einem Sony G eindeutig langsamer. Stimmt. Aber normalerweise läuft das Porträtmotiv ja auch nicht vor de Kamera davon Und falls doch, dann stimmt wahrscheinlich irgendwas anderes nicht. Blendenring Einstellung A rastet zu schwach. Echt jetzt? Wenn die Kamera im Automatikbetrieb unterwegs ist (P) dann ist die Einstellung des Blendenrings der Kamera sowieso komplett Banane. Dann macht die Automatik ihr Ding, egal wo der Blendenring gerade steht. Offenblende 2 ist zu wenig? Come on, mit Blende 2 wird nichtmal das ganze Gesicht scharf. Nase ja, Ohren nein. Porträt klappt mit Blende 4-5 viel besser. Fazit bis jetzt: Die Linse macht ihren Job gut. Schön das sie nicht so teuer war. Etwas vergleichbares habe ich auch nirgends gefunden.

Für den Preis bin ich sehr zufrieden. Gute verarbeitung, schönes Bokeh und auch scharf.

Update 20.02.2025:This lens seems to have problems working with some Sony E mount cameras. Since buying this lens I have acquired a secondhand Sony NEX 5 and this lens does not function with it. I would note that the NEX 5 is listed as a compatible model on the TTArtisan website. Other reviews posted here make it clear this is not an isolated issue. It is simply not good enough to release a lens which does not work with all of the cameras it is supposed to. I hope that this issue can be resolved with a firmware update but unless and until this happens I feel obliged to reduce my 5 star score to 3.Other points I've noticed having used this lens some more on the A7: while bokeh is very pleasant with the lens wide open it does seem to get a bit busy as you stop down, vignetting is very noticeable at f2 but soon disappears with smaller apertures. I don't consider either of these things to be problems just part of the character of what could be a great budget lens if only the compatibility issues are resolved.Original review 02.10.2025:Having recently added an original Sony A7 and Sony 28mm f2 to my camera line up I wanted to get a portrait lens. While doing my research I stumbled across this lens here on Amazon. Naturally I was a little suspicious as this lens, new, is cheaper than even secondhand examples of the competition in the 75-85mm focal length range (though only by pennies and after allowing for P&P in the case of a used Samyang 75mm f1.8).After reading some favourable reviews online though I decided to give it go. The lens I received is well made, with an all metal construction, was nicely packaged, and balances well with the A7.After taking some photographs I can report that I am very happy with the image quality produced by this lens. I would certainly rate this lens more highly than the, also inexpensive, Yi M1 42.5mm f1.8 portrait lens in my Micro Four Thirds set up, and would say that, quality-wise, it seems to compliment the Sony 28mm f2 very well. The centre of the images is plenty sharp enough for me and, as the reviews say, the corners sharpen up from f2.8 up. Bokeh is pleasant. Autofocus is not the quickest but not, so far, noticeably worse than the Sony 28mm f2.My first impressions of this lens are that is an excellent option for Sony full frame users looking for good value short telephoto.Points to note: Sample variation means that my getting a good lens doesn't guarantee that you will, that said, unlike Samyang, TTArtisan do not have a bad reputation for this.As stated I am using this lens on an original 24mp Sony A7 more recent models with higher resolution sensors and faster and more sophisticated autofocus could reveal flaws that I am unaware of.I have only owned and used this lens for a few days so can offer no comment on durability, if extended use reveals more on this, or anything else, I will amend this review accordingly.I would always recommending reading as many reviews as you can find before buying this or any other lens.
