- Your local USA phone number is generated once the sim card is activated (based on the activation date that you note at the time of registration). Your 10 days of service will commence from this date. Upon arriving in the USA and after inserting the sim card in your mobile phone, you can go into your phone settings menu to view your USA phone number. You will also receive a text message from T-Mobile noting your local USA phone number.
Additional Information - If you are travelling with another person, it is important to have the ability to contact one another at any time especially in an emergency. We highly advise that you both purchase a sim so you can keep in touch.

Bought this for a 15 day trip to New Orleans and Nashville.Followed the instructions to activate, stuck it in a Google Pixel 7a, turned it on when I landed and had full 5G coverage most of the time. Slipped to LTE 4G while in parts of the Smoky Mountains. Used it for getting around with maps, booking shows and attractions and the hotspot came in handy for my wife to connect to when there was no WIFI.Got a US phone number as soon as I turned it on which came in handy for bookings and as a contact number for hire car etc.Definitely worked for me with zero issues.

Saved me a fortune on roaming charges.Worked great from the moment I got to the USA. I used it within California, Nevada and Arizona. A few areas in the middle of Yosemite national park where it didn't work but you cannot expect these to work in the wilderness. Will buy again in the future if needed.

Used this in Alaska, Florida, Louisiana, Kentucky, Washington, California and Arizona. worked really well and had no connection issues.

When I discovered that in order to use my mobile phone and plan in the US, I would have to pay an extra $12 a day. That was another extra $120 to use my phone. It was brought to my attention that I could purchase a US Sim card and the T-Mobile was the best that I found 10 days unlimited data. However you can only call or text American numbers but we have so much social media communication that I didn’t have to worry about calling or texting. We just used WhatsApp or Facebook messenger. We travelled to Disney World and my daughter and I were able to text and call each other if needed because we both had a US Sim card. For $42 Canadian I was able to use my phone, the GPS etc. it was the perfect solution and the best savings, so easy to use! Just follow the simple instruction to register it and then just before we cross the border we went inside the duty-free store, sat down and changed the Sim cards. Easy Peezy will definitely be doing this again.
