5 starsCavernous power bank!This is a BIG portable power bank.Big because of its 26,800mAh capacity and also for its girth... not something you carry in your pocket.The charger has 2 USB-A ports (the big ones), one usb-C and one micro-usb.The usb-C and micro-usb can be used for charging the power bank (use the usb-c as it's faster).In this day and age, I would prefer to skip the micro-usb, have 3 USB-C and a single usb-A port on power banks, considering that all new phones/tablets and many gadgets now come with usb-C. But powerbank design in general are still lagging considerably behind the times.Nevertheless, this beast delivers on its promised 18W of power.I connected a macbook to the usb-C to test the maximum power output.The macbook can suck upwards of 40 watts if you have it to give.The power bank delivered 17.16W which is pretty good on a device with 18w specs.Then I connected two and three devices for charging on the usb-c and one/two of the usb-A ports.The bank does its best to distribute its 18W budget amongst connected devices but as you can see in one of thephotos, one of the devices got 0W of power delivery. This would only happen if you overtax the power bank with devices thatneed more than the power bank has to deliver.But under normal scenarios, If you connect one or two smart phones for charging, the power bank will do it's job just fine!This power bank comes with a 4 panel folded solar panel... 4 times lager than similar power banks with a small solar panel on their back.Unfortunately, the reality of solar panels power output is such that this array of 4x 300mAh panels would take over 20 hours underfull direct sun to fully recharge the power bank.A modern smart phone requires 2500 to 5000mAh to fully recharge.But do not despair. 2-4 hours of direct sunlight should be enough to recharge your smart phone.So theoretically, you should be able to use your smart phone off the grid indefinitely.The power bank alone, with no sun should be able to fully recharge a smart phone 5 - 11 times.This will more than carry you over on shady/rainy days until your next sunny day of battery recharge.Finally, the power bank has a built-in flashlight (press and hold the button for 3 seconds) and a toy compass.Conclusion:This is a BIG and capable power bank.The solar panel is more than adequate for a portable unit.The port selection is a little dated (not abnormal).Verdict:I would recommend this power bank to anyone who goes on long backpacking trips and feels anxious about maintaining a charge on their cell phoneor for someone who wants to have a very basic emergency battery for one or two cell phones at home, or in the car / camper.

I have several power banks that range in power capacity and performance. I think this isn’t a bad power bank to have if your taking it for a camping trip. It is on the larger side but for its size, its not as heavy as I would expect. This is the largest battery capacity that’s permitted on an airline I believe. Its charges my devices fine. I like the silicone port cover although I wouldn’t want to test out its ability with moisture but it keeps things from getting in the ports. The big light puts off a good amount and will run at full power for a long time if needed but its dimmable as well. The built in compass actually works fairly good as a backup. The solar panels are good to have if you run low and don’t have power to recharge but, this will take forever and you’ll need full direct sun light for it to work its best. Overall I think this is a decent option for an outdoor trip and as a backup. Its not my favorite bank but this is a good option on a trip that I would be concerned with some of my pricy ones, if it gets broken, its not the end of the world. This is good to have.
