I work in my basement especially once my kids get home from school and struggled with wifi signal being weak downstairs. Using this wifi extender I get better WIFI signal in my basement now to help my connection while working at home.

Abnehmbare Antennen sind von Vorteil, denn da sind dann andere Antennen adaptierbar, die eine größere Reichweite ermöglichen. Leider lässt die Bedienungsanleitung keinen Schluss darüber zu, welche der beiden Antennen für welches Band ist. Einfache Installation, allerdings reicht das 5 GHz-Band nicht bis zu meinem Gästehaus in 50m Entfernung. Mit dem 2 4GHz-Band lässt sich dort ohne Unterbrechung einen Film auf Netflix streamen. Sobald das Wetter besser ist, werde ich ein paar andere Standorte versuchen. Das Ergebnis trage ich dann nach.

Die Installation verlief reibungslos und war innerhalb weniger Minuten abgeschlossen, sodass auch weniger Technikaffine keine Probleme haben dürften. Die Verbindungsqualität bleibt konstant hoch, egal ob ich surfe, Videos in HD-Qualität streame oder Online-Gaming betreibe.Außerdem fällt positiv auf, wie zuverlässig und flüssig das Roaming zwischen verschiedenen WLAN-Zonen funktioniert. Die Kompatibilität mit verschiedenen Routern und anderen Netzwerkgeräten ist hervorragend, sodass ich den Access Point problemlos in mein bestehendes Setup integrieren konnte. Auch optisch fügt er sich dezent in die Umgebung ein und benötigt nur wenig Platz. Für alle, die großen Wert auf Sicherheit legen, bieten die integrierten Verschlüsselungs- und Firewall-Funktionen zusätzliche Beruhigung.Besonders lobenswert ist auch der geringe Energieverbrauch, was langfristig nicht nur die Umwelt, sondern auch den Geldbeutel schont. Ich habe bereits andere Geräte getestet, doch der Access Point hat mich in puncto Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis vollkommen überzeugt. I have a couple of other WONLINK range extenders in my home; they are the type that get plugged into an AC socket and are made to simply take a WiFi signal (2.4G and 5G) and extend the router's coverage into weak areas. This is a very different device.We have a long green belt behind our house where we walk the pups, and the WiFi coverage previous to installing this extended a couple of hundred feet in either direction. With this installed on the peak of our garage roof (on the side to avoid snow coverage) the range is at least four times greater. I can get coverage to one end of the green belt and most of the way in the opposite direction. This allows me to save on cellular data charges.There is a lot more to mounting this kind of extender but it offers the ability to have an outside device which, once connected via Ethernet cable, can push WiFi signals out into areas where routers and in-home extenders do not reach.The setup is fast. It's not overly complicated. Even people who are not well versed in router setup can do it but need to have a couple of pieces of information. Passwords for both 2.4G and 5G connections is required, as is the WiFi connection name(s). It took me about 5 minutes to get is set up after unboxing, getting the power connected, and plugging the included Ethernet cable into my laptop. The user manual is written in real English and is easy to follow.🚩 One thing to note: this does not offer 6G, only 2.4g and 5G.► The kit comes with everything needed to get the extender configuration set up.► Included are screws and stainless steel tie wraps for mounting purposes. This allows for hanging it off a wall or strapped to a post. The whole thing is very lightweight, so it puts no stress on any kind of placement on a wall► The included POE power supply can be used to get it set up, 48V DC at .32A, or plugged into a POE switch. With the included power supply, it does still need to be connected to a laptop, or switch on the same network as a PC, so it can be connected to for configuration. Again, the manual walks a person through this. The power supply has an RJ45 LAN connection (to the switch) and an RJ45 POE port, which gets connected to one of the two RJ45 ports on the extender's bottom.► There is a silicone seal that gets placed on the extender's topside mounted antenna connectors. When the antennas are screwed on, they compress the seals and make a water-tight seal.► At the bottom, behind a snap-on cover, are the two RJ45 ports. This is almost watertight. I say "almost" because one would not want to go spraying water upwards into the bottom where the opening is to pass Ethernet cables.► On one side is a small four-LED icon panel. It shows status and allows for visual confirmation of connection and operational status.I have a CAT7 outdoor (UV-resistant) cable run to the garage. This connects to a POE switch, and from there, I connect the extender. When I run a speed test from a range of about 100 meters, I still get about 400Mbps/second (on 5G) connection on my phone. This is far better than the wireless internal unit I was running inside the garage.I am very pleased with the device's capabilities, and if it stays reliable like the other WONLINK devices I have, I expect it will work hassle-free for a long time.I can easily recommend this to anyone looking to get more range for their WiFi connection outdoors.

This extender/repeater media converter wifi super tool solved many issues and improved overall system throughout for my ravine trail cam network.Most notable was the range and sensitive improvement of my others. Mainly due I think to a faster internal processor (??) that allowed the 5 g band and Ethernet ports to move alot of data.The most notable benefit of this outdoor wifi hub is having PoE to simplify outdoor placement on a mast with other PoE cameras and secondary repeaters just above ground level.The next notable benefit is the configurability of router/repeater modes with the two physical ports, so that the network topology could be experimented with to maximize the through put of the end devices. In my case 5k resolution cameras need data, and 2.4g 2k remote cameras need distance. By mixing and tuning the configurations, possible with this outdoor hub I was able to establish a ravine cam network that is fast, far reaching and responsive enough to actually use "video event notification" in real time!

Da ich im Garten kein WLAN hatte, aber eine Smart-Home-Steckdosensäule und einen Mähroboter nutze, wollte ich unbedingt WLAN bis in den Garten erweitern. Mit dieser Antenne ist mir das perfekt gelungen!Installation und EinrichtungIch habe im Haus eine Powerline-Steckdose installiert, um das Internetsignal ins Stromnetz einzuspeisen. Im Schuppen habe ich eine weitere Powerline-Steckdose, an der die Antenne angeschlossen ist.Die Einrichtung war extrem einfach:Antenne ans Stromnetz anschließen.Die Software hat die Internetverbindung automatisch erkannt.WLAN-Verbindung angezeigt, Passwort eingegeben – und schon war alles eingerichtet!Im Menü konnte ich ein WLAN einrichten, das identisch mit meinem Haus-WLAN ist, inklusive des gleichen Passworts. Das ist äußerst praktisch, da das Handy oder der Laptop nicht ständig zwischen verschiedenen Netzwerken wechseln muss, wenn das Signal schwächer wird.LeistungDie Antenne bietet sowohl auf 2,4 GHz als auch auf 5 GHz eine starke und stabile Verbindung. Great booster. Easy setup, great distance, handles multiple devices. None of our devices are dropping any longer and we get 5 bars everywhere inside and outside my house. We don't have cable, we have 5 streaming TV's, plus 5 phones, and 3 X Boxes. No more issues! I highly recommend.

...weil doch sehr überrascht wegen der Reichweite.Ich benutze ihn um auf dem Sportplatzgelände deckend WLAN zu haben. Dabei geht es hauptsächlich um den digitalen Passcheck 🏈Habe bei einer 50er DSL Leitung (48 down und 10 up) direkt am Router, mit dem hier im AP-Modus in der letzten Ecke an den Plätzen noch gut 34 down und 8 up.Also mehr als wir am GameDay benötigen und deutlich mehr als ich erwartet habe.Alles dabei was man braucht um erfolgreich einrichten zu können.Bei mir hängt er letzendlich an einem ca. 20m langen und selbstgechrimpten LAN-Kabel (wegen Mauerdurchbruch).Eine klare Empfehlung von mir 💪🏻👍🏻
